أعادت تحركات ناقلات النفط عبر الأطلسي فتح مسار لم يطأه الخام الأمريكي منذ أكثر من عامين، في خطوة تبدو وكأنها بداية لإعادة ترتيب خطوط إمداد الطاقة بين واشنطن وتل أبيب.
وكشفت بيانات تتبع السفن عبر منصة «مجموعة بورصات لندن» (LSEG) عن توجه ناقلة النفط العملاقة «كابتن جون» (Captain John) إلى ميناء عسقلان الواقع جنوب إسرائيل، محمّلة بنحو 550 ألف برميل من خام «غرب تكساس الوسيط» الأمريكي.
السفينة، التي ترفع علم مالطا وتنتمي لفئة «أفراماكس» ذات القدرة الاستيعابية التي تصل إلى 750 ألف برميل، كانت قد أتمت عمليات شحن شحنتها النفطية من منشأة «إنجلسايد» التابعة لشركة «إنبريدج» بالقرب من منطقة كوربوس كريستي بولاية تكساس الأمريكية.
وبحسب البيانات الذاتية للناقلة، أظهرت السجلات أن شركة «فيتول» (Vitol)، إحدى أكبر شركات تجارة الطاقة العالمية، هي الجهة التي قامت باستئجار الناقلة لتنفيذ هذه المهمة البحرية.
وتكتسب هذه الشحنة أهمية سياسية واقتصادية خاصة؛ حيث تشير أرقام شركة «كبلر» المتخصصة في تحليل بيانات الشحن البحري إلى أن هذه هي المرة الأولى التي يتجه فيها الخام الأمريكي نحو الموانئ الإسرائيلية منذ أكتوبر من عام 2023، مما يثير تساؤلات حول طبيعة الترتيبات الجديدة لتأمين احتياجات الطاقة وتأثيرها على معادلة التبادل التجاري بين الطرفين في هذا التوقيت الحرج.
The movements of oil tankers across the Atlantic have reopened a route that American crude has not touched for more than two years, in a move that seems to mark the beginning of a reorganization of energy supply lines between Washington and Tel Aviv.
Tracking data from the London Stock Exchange Group (LSEG) revealed that the giant oil tanker “Captain John” is headed to the port of Ashkelon located in southern Israel, carrying about 550,000 barrels of American West Texas Intermediate crude.
The ship, which flies the Maltese flag and belongs to the Aframax class with a capacity of up to 750,000 barrels, had completed loading its oil cargo from the Ingleside facility of Enbridge near the Corpus Christi area in Texas, USA.
According to the tanker’s self-reported data, records showed that Vitol, one of the largest global energy trading companies, is the entity that chartered the tanker to carry out this maritime mission.
This shipment holds special political and economic significance; as figures from Kepler, a company specializing in shipping data analysis, indicate that this is the first time American crude has headed towards Israeli ports since October 2023, raising questions about the nature of the new arrangements to secure energy needs and their impact on the trade exchange equation between the two parties at this critical time.
