أكّد أمير منطقة عسير رئيس هيئة تطويرها الأمير تركي بن طلال، أن ما تحظى به منطقة عسير من دعم واهتمام من القيادة الرشيدة منحها فرصة تاريخية واعدة وغير مسبوقة لتحقيق الازدهار الاقتصادي، مشيراً إلى المتابعة المستمرة من ولي العهد رئيس مجلس الوزراء الأمير محمد بن سلمان، لمسيرة التنمية في المنطقة.
جاء ذلك خلال كلمة الأمير تركي بن طلال التي ألقاها في حفل تدشين مشروع «سفن» الترفيهي بمدينة أبها الذي يُعد أول مشاريع (شركة مشاريع الترفيه السعودية «سفن»)، المملوكة بالكامل لشركة القدية للاستثمار، وأول مشروع تنجزه الشركة من بين مشاريعها في مختلف مناطق المملكة.
وأوضح الأمير تركي بن طلال، أن صندوق الاستثمارات العامة يُعد من أبرز شركاء التنمية في عسير، ويقود أربعة مشاريع كبرى في المنطقة، مؤكداً أن اكتمال المشروع يعكس أثر تكامل الجهود وتوحيد الغايات وتنسيق الإدارة في تسريع الإنجاز وتحقيق النجاح.
وبيّن أمير عسير أن أهمية المشروع لا تقتصر على أسبقيته الزمنية، بل تمثل نموذجاً لمنهج عمل يقوم على اتحاد العزائم والانضباط في التنفيذ، بما يسهم في تحويل الخطط التنموية إلى مشاريع واقعية تعزز جودة الحياة وتدعم النمو الاقتصادي والسياحي.
وأشار أمير منطقة عسير إلى أن المشروع يأتي ضمن عشرات المشاريع المخطط تنفيذها في المنطقة، وضمن وجهة «إرث عسير» التي تضم خمسة تجمعات تنموية، مبيناً أن المشروع يقع في تجمع المطار الذي يمثل البوابة الأولى للمنطقة، مؤكداً أن اختيار موقع المشروع جاء ليتكامل مع مشروع مطار أبها الدولي الجديد، ويمنح زوار المنطقة تجربة متكاملة منذ لحظة وصولهم، بما يعكس هوية عسير ومقوماتها السياحية والتنموية، ويعزز مكانتها بوصفها وجهة وطنية وعالمية جاذبة.
The Emir of Asir Region, Chairman of its Development Authority, Prince Turki bin Talal, confirmed that the support and attention that the Asir Region receives from the wise leadership has granted it a historic and unprecedented opportunity to achieve economic prosperity, pointing to the continuous follow-up from the Crown Prince, Prime Minister Prince Mohammed bin Salman, on the development journey in the region.
This came during the speech delivered by Prince Turki bin Talal at the inauguration ceremony of the “Sufun” entertainment project in the city of Abha, which is the first project of the Saudi Entertainment Projects Company “Sufun,” fully owned by Qiddiya Investment Company, and the first project completed by the company among its various projects across the Kingdom.
Prince Turki bin Talal explained that the Public Investment Fund is one of the most prominent partners in development in Asir, leading four major projects in the region, emphasizing that the completion of the project reflects the impact of integrated efforts, unified goals, and coordinated management in accelerating achievement and ensuring success.
The Emir of Asir indicated that the importance of the project is not limited to its chronological precedence, but it also represents a model for a working methodology based on the unity of determination and discipline in execution, contributing to transforming developmental plans into tangible projects that enhance quality of life and support economic and tourism growth.
The Emir of Asir Region pointed out that the project is part of dozens of projects planned for implementation in the region, and within the “Heritage of Asir” destination, which includes five developmental clusters, noting that the project is located in the airport cluster, which represents the first gateway to the region. He emphasized that the choice of the project’s location was made to complement the new Abha International Airport project, providing visitors to the region with a comprehensive experience from the moment they arrive, reflecting the identity of Asir and its tourism and developmental components, and enhancing its status as an attractive national and global destination.
